gold medallist shooter Abhinav Bindra was appointed as new chairman of the re-constituted Target Olympics Podium
(TOP) committee, which also has yesteryear sprint star PT Usha and badminton
champion Mr. Prakash Padukone among
other. Bindra was part of previous
committee but he quit to focus on preparation of Rio Olympics2016. The two
other sports persons in the 10 members
plane are shooter Anjali Bhagwat and woman weightlifter Karnam malleswari, the
2000 Sydney . The other five members if from All India Tennis Associatin life
president Anil Khanna , boxing adminiatrator PK Muralidharan Raja, railways
sports promotion broard secretary Rekha Yadav , SS Roy ,ED(Teams) SAI and joint
secretary (Sports ) Inder Dhamija.
